identity studies
I've been working on and off for the past 3 years in a set of thoughts around the emergence of identity and emotions, about our stance in life, about who we are, the story we tell ourselves about us, the story we tell others. I released a collection of 15 works last year with Heft Gallery with the title "non-quantum superpositions of human/machine emotional states", and I follow now with the release of a set of identity studies, made in parallel to the works presented last year.
The first installment of these identity studies is titled "a swirling shadow may transcend into an elephant or a dancer". The series can be purchased as 1/1 NFTs alone, or accompanied with a signed giclée print on Hahnemühle William Turner 310g paper.
The site that I have put up to show the works also contains some other images from the same explorations, which might or might not end up being part of another series. Also, handmade papers from the series identidades de papel vs. la identidad de un papel, which is part of the same research. I hope you enjoy them all.
You can see the whole collection here.
